Sr. Analyst, Operations Performance and Statistics
Phoenix, AZ
 
The Sr. Analyst for Operations Performance and Statistics will develop and produce company-wide reports and presentations on operational performance. Work with other business groups to understand their business needs and develop automated reporting as per the requirements. Interact with IT in development of data marts to address the various evolving business requirements. Investigates and implement automation in reporting and data extraction methods. Work and coordinate with multiple departments on a variety of ad-hoc data need. Develop complex queries to obtain data from multiple sources. Develop web-based or Hyperion based reports and dashboards.
 
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in MIS/CS and at least 3 years relevant work experience or graduate degree
  • Advanced aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and effectively interact with all levels of management
  •  Ability to extract and manipulate large amounts of data and create effective summary or scorecard reporting; experience with automation (VBA, forms, macros, scheduler, etc) and data extraction tools (SQL, SAS, etc)
  • Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and work effectively while meeting provided timelines
  • Web application development experience is preferred; proficiency in mainframe systems and Hyperion BI products a plus
