Manager Sr. Medical Management Services

The Sr. Manager of Medical Management Services is responsible for managing the Drug & Alcohol Program and the Absence Management Program, including supervision of the services provided by a vendor managed, on-site, medical clinic.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Provide consistent review and recommendations on Company FMLA policy
· Ensure Company policies are compliant with all applicable state leave laws, federal leave laws and FAA regulations
· Work in close partnership with the Company’s legal counsel, labor and Employee Relations teams in conjunction with senior leadership to ensure compliance and necessary reporting
· Provide a case-management type function to assist Employees and/or their Leadership under the ADA guidelines and with complex leave and administration of FMLA and state protected leaves, problems and issues
· Ensure the Company’s Drug and Alcohol program meets FAA guidelines as well as international country specific laws
· Plan and schedule work ensuring proper distribution and adequate staffing levels
· Prepare budget recommendations, monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of funds
· Participate in the evaluation of new procedures, processes, software, and/or equipment that would impact employees as they relate to FMLA compliance, or other similar programs
· Pro-actively review development of training programs and written procedures to assure consistency in administration of FMLA and Drug & Alcohol programs
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/training coupled with at least 6 years professional Human Resources or related experience. Strong skills in setting up policies, procedures and systems that provide an integrated, inclusive approach to case management for large caseloads. The ability to handle multiple tasks in high volume and adhering to deadlines within a highly confidential environment. Knowledge of DOT drug and alcohol regulations. Demonstrated leadership ability in a prior management role. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with all levels in an organization and external vendors.
