Manager – Payroll Applications and Testing
Phoenix, AZ
The Manager for Payroll Applications and Testing is responsible for managing system changes and implementations for payroll and timekeeping applications.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the design, development, testing and implementation of Corporate Disbursement systems
- Recommend and implement system modifications to improve internal control, increase efficiency, or reduce costs
- Lead a group of 10 analysts to develop test plans for delivery of new functionality and upgrades
- Work with IT to develop business specification for requested changes and work with IT and business to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field
- At least seven years payroll and accounting experience, including two or more years of financial management experience
- At least 5 years experience with system design and implementation
- Previous project management work experience
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Knowledge of financial and operational controls, tax regulations, and accounting and reporting requirements
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
